Description

This is my cat Maaz. Has currently had behavioural issues such as aggression and hissing. Is due for an upcoming health check which I have booked. Unfortunately I work 8:30-5:30 and can’t always be there to provide him comfort. I am still confused as to why he has started showing aggression hence why I’ve booked him for a health check. He isn’t very social, not since a young age. He has only stuck to me for affection or my brother. Does not mix with other people either, especially loud children! Has had a bad experience in the past with kids which has shaped how he is around strangers. Hence why I will be extremely fussy with who I’ll be rehoming him with, will require a lot of patience and love. He is a house cat as we live near main roads and speeding cars. I had limited the use of the back garden as he would leave to go out but once he hears a kid or another voice he doesn’t recognise he’ll panic and get confused of the outside and show it through aggression. I’ve had my baby for two years and the last thing I’ve been thinking about was rehoming him! I’ve booked a healthcare check to see what the vet may suggest and also will try rule out everything that may be leading to this behaviour. My last resort is rehoming him. I’ll be posting this ad and keeping it up until I can figure out whether I can manage and take care of his needs or whether he’d be better off with someone more well equipped and experienced.
