Description
5th generation Labradoodle x Australian Labradoodle puppies from extensively health-checked parents.
Our beautiful fourth-generation home-bred Labradoodle has recently had pups who will be ready for their new homes from early September. The litter consists of 6 fox red girls, 1 fox red boy, and 3 black boys. For more pictures of our dogs and puppies, please see cotswold_labradoodles on Instagram.
With over 15 years of Labradoodle experience in the family, our dogs have fantastic temperaments, wonderful characters and a smaller size, known as ‘medium’ labradoodles. Dam is a medium labradoodle - 20inches at the shoulder - with a chocolate coat showing cream highlights and full furnishings. Sire is a red-apricot medium (19inches) Australian Labradoodle, from the Northcroft Doodles line, who currently works as a therapy dog.
Although not a guarantee, based on the parents sizes we expect these pups to mature to around 20inches tall / 20kg weight. All pups will have full furnishings and a variety of coat curl types and lengths, some of the puppies may mature with white markings.
Both Dam and Sire have been extensively health checked including genetic testing. All puppy owners will be provided with copies of testing, along with a family tree for their puppy. Dam is N/N (genetically clear) for; Degenerative Myelopathy (DM), HNPK, Osteochondrodysplasia, Neonatal Encephalopathy, Von Willebrand disease type 1, PRA, PRA/LOPRA. Dam elbow score: 0:0. Dam hip score: 2:5. Sire is N/N (genetically clear) for: PRA, HNPK, EIC, NEwS, vWD1 and more (full results supplied with puppy pack).
The dam is our very loved family dog and the puppies are being raised in the heart of our home – when they are ready for their new families, they will already have started their lives with exposure to children, babies, family dogs (healthy and vaccinated), and all the noises and smells that come with a busy countryside house.
Pups can be viewed at home with mum from mid-August or we can arrange video calls in the first instance to discuss your plans and make sure our puppies are going to the best homes. Several pups have already been reserved for therapy or assistance dog training so please contact us for up-to-date availability as they are proving very popular.
We want to set you and your puppy up for the best possible start in their new home, so all pups will have:
- Copies of both parents health checks and family tree
- Puppy contract and ‘first nights’ guidance
- Regular worming
- First round of vaccinations
- Microchipping
- Vet health checks
- Initial toilet training and socialisation
- 4 weeks puppy insurance
- 2.5kg of puppy food
- Scented comfort blanket and comfort toy
Final photos are of Tilly (Dam).
