Barley is about 2.5 years old, and medium in size. He is very friendly and needs a home where his joyful energy can be enjoyed and positively channelled. Therefore, he'd be more suited to a home with guardians experienced in caring for a dog like him where he'll be the only dog.
This boy is smart as well as handsome and knows all his basic commands. Barley is strong on the lead and is responsive to everything going on around him all the time. His brains and ability to learn will help you to develop a strong bond through fun training and games.
Barley would love a secure garden to run around in. He'd also enjoy some doggy playmates, despite preferring to be the only dog in his household.
Due to this gorgeous fella's energy levels, we think he'd be best homed with older children (teens) who could cope with a big bouncy dog.
His previous foster home has very kindly written a substantial biography about Barley - there's so much more to learn about this gorgeous boy! We look forward to sharing this information with his new people when he's found them.
