hello everyone, i am looking to rehome a black and tan dachshund who is nearly 18 weeks old. he is friendly and a bit shy to start with but he soon warms up to you and gets to know you. the reason for needing to rehome him is i am expecting a baby in july and wont have much time on my hands anymore as the baby would have to come first and as he is the breed he is he really does keep you on your toes. hes slowly been potty trained for the past 2 months and usually does go to the door and whins when he wants out. i brought him originally for £1250 but would be happy to sell everything i have brought for him including his cage (he is very well trained to go in at night time after 5 minutes of crying then he settles), his food, bowls, lead, collar and harness. he also has been fully vaccinated now and been introduced to other dogs and is okay with them. i would like the £1250 back but offers are available but dont waste my time as this is a legit post and not accepting anything under £900 as i am happy to give everything away with him. he is also microchipped but would need to phone them and move it over to your name so he comes back to you which will cost an additional £40 when phoning them. dont have a picture with the mum as i brought him when he was 8 weeks and he is now 18 weeks old but he is in a teething phase and is not going to be good for having a newborn baby on the floor and would not want to have to put him down if he turned aggressive towards the baby so i would rather rehome him now rather then wait and see.

Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
