Description

****Urgent adoption needed. The cost is subject to being available immediately to receive him**** AVAILABLE-2.5-3yr ‘Mocha’ staffie lookalike- the poor ignored & irrelevant boy who is so handsome & loves to play with his female friends & has seen most of them leave without him. If you’re looking for one canine companion (or a couple as perhaps you’re used to two dogs & his current pen friend is also desperately looking) here is an opportunity in the shape of mocha lad at almost 3yrs old (2yrs 8 months to be more exact). Two yrs of that existence was homeless after neglect & rejection & the next 8 months was being left in a government pound by whoever picked him up. We want to highlight what mocha will bring to your life. This isabout him not the human acts he has endured. If you watch the video of mochas then g/f ‘jemima puddle-duck’ & how much they loved each other you’ll see more than words can say why mocha is the joyful companion you’re looking for. The challenges & cruelties that befall animals, like humans, do not necessarily define them & mochas spirit, responsiveness, merry antics with other dogs & joy at human contact has never wavered. This describes most of our adjusted, loving & homeless rescues. What is so striking about this stately looking boy is his air of aristocracy & ‘The Godfather’ look combined - he is the Marlon Brando of the canine world - a touch of Vito Corleone & the young Michael Corleone in one delightful package. He’ll bring enough determination to make you laugh & sufficient manners & spooning to make you melt. He loves the female pooches & has experienced close relationships with them all through the long months as well as the sadnesses in loosing that in a shelter where they aren’t safe or I home them. Mochas particular preferences would make him a great addition to a home with a resident bitch. Likewise he would be fine on his own as he is also used to that & is a great cuddling pal. He is very much a dog doggie if you get me - as in a medium sized laddo that fulfils what you may be looking for in your average hound- whether beach walks or strolls on the hills &/or chilling in the garden at home. Like many males he is also pretty usual preferring the females to the boys and we wouldn’t recommend him therefore for a bromance. Mocha is not too active, not too docile & not too much of anything other than handsome & loving. He’s looking to not be overlooked - and at last to be relevant even if it’s only to one person - is that you? Please choose mocha. We have reduced his transport cost to make this more possible for him whilst still attracting genuine enquiries. If you’ve had a staffie you’ll love mocha as he’s got that look & vibe and even if you haven’t you’ll still adore him. Age: 2yrs & 8 months. Size: medium Coat: super short & smooth like velvet Breed: mixed Castrated ✅ Walking ✅ Handling ✅ Strokes ✅ Affectionate ✅ Men or women ✅ Female dogs ♥ ✅ Playful ✅ Respected by other dogs & looked up to ✅ Tolerant when a dog is getting on his nerves & they learn from him ✅ We can get more videos & pictures for anyone who is seriously interested. Otherwise love at first sight is what we are crossing our fingers for ? History:- I was told he’d been put in the shelter by an English lady because he was getting bullied in her area. He would have tried to make this his ‘home’ hoping to attach to anything or anyone. Hungry, in tact (castrated now) & destitute, tensions could have run high & squabbles amongst the abandoned souls clinging onto hope can occur. Mocha may have clashed with the wrong boy & ended up with a cut & scars poor mite. I first spotted him around October 2024 sitting in a crate waiting to be distributed in an already full pound- see video. He looked a sorry sight. It was transport day for other lucky lives heading off for the U.K. and both mocha (as mum called him) & ‘sparky’ (another dog left there for ages by someone) were watching each pooch pass by and leave for pastures new- pretty heart breaking for them actually. Mocha didn’t once growl or react as they passed his cage. He just wagged his tail. It was quite frankly pitiful & 8 months+ later he’s still sitting there waiting & waiting & waiting…. for something that never comes. For anyone who isn’t familiar with the rescue work break the chains does, we try (amongst other rescue work we do) to find homes for these forgotten animals who are abandoned in government shelters & destined to die there, be made homeless again (and face horrendous dangers as they now trust & are dependant on humans for food) or given to someone for a chain. That’s why we don’t leave dogs in pounds unless we intend to find a home (& cover all the costs involved)because they’ll just be distributed else where & face the very same thing that you were getting them ‘away’ from. We won’t say more on this because even if he was out of sight out of mind to someone else- he’s our ‘can’t get out of our mind’ & beautiful. Please make him your sleepless night & adopt him Transport outlay & home check applies. RBU provided subject to contract. We practice none-discrimination policies (STC) so don’t hesitate to get in touch. Official rescue Break the chains for dogs Bulgaria Early enquiries welcome contact Trish, Karen or Leesa
