This poor boy was in terrible condition when first found on the street, alone, starving and injured. He has turned into a beautiful boy and is ready for a loving forever home. He is very shy so needs a home with someone that has experience and patience to let him settle into his home in his own time and feel the reward of the love he will give you in return. He is v

We are extremely reluctant to be seeking a forever home for Olive, our long-haired black cat. We have been with Olive since she was 9 weeks old. We have tried to find an alternative to rehoming Olive but it isn't possible for us. Olive shares a home with our small dog, they get along incredibly well but as Olive is an indoor cat we are finding it impossible to keep Olive's food and litter tray out of reach of the dog, who cannot be left unsupervised with access to these. At the moment we are keeping them separate but this is unfair on them both as they both love to access the whole house freely. This wasn't a problem for us until recently when we moved to a house with a different layout. About Olive: Olive is a very affectionate cat who loves to be close to her humans. She is very easy going once she has built trust with you and enjoys being cradled like a baby and having her fluffy belly hair massaged. She also enjoys sitting on the back of the sofa whilst you are watching TV. Olive is very much a house cat and spends 90% of her time indoors, she does like to go outside for an hour or so in the evening, especially in the summer, however usually doesn't leave the garden or proximity of the house. Olive is particular about her food, she like a specific brand of dry food which we will of course share with you if you adopt Olive. She loves treats such as lik-e-lix and she will exchange lots of affection for one! Olive likes to be free to find the best sleeping spots throughout your house, she likes to be warm and feel safe. She prefers not to be confined to one room or just the living room area. About you: Olive currently has a loving home and we are not desperate to rehome her, therefore we will wait for the right person to adopt Olive. Olive would be best suited to a home where someone is around most of the time (although she is ok being left alone for a few hours with plenty of food, water and her litter tray). Olive is friendly with everyone who she trusts, but we would prefer her to go to a home without small children as she is not used to this kind of environment. Olive is looking for a home where she can be brushed regularly, as she has long fine soft hair, it needs to be brushed to prevent any matting and reduce shedding. Olive does enjoy being groomed. If you are interested in offering Olive a home, want some more information etc, then please get in touch. We will ask that we can informally visit you prior to Olive being rehomed, purely to ensure she is going to a place where she will be well-suited, the last thing we want is to put her in an environment where she feels stressed. Lastly, Olive is a super affectionate and loving cat and she is comfortable with us as she trusts us. From our experience, when new people (especially men with deep voices) visit the house, she does panic and finds a hiding place until she knows she is safe. That is not to say she can't be rehomed by a man, as she does love her current humans (both male and female). We anticipate that whoever adopts Olive will have to build up Trust with her over a few weeks before she will be forthcoming with you. After receiving regular treats and being enticed, she will settle in very well, she needs to be reho
