Monty is 4 years old and large in size. He needs to be the only dog in a home, and can live with teenagers (or older more robust children). His home would need a reasonably sized, secure garden (or he’d need several walks a day to meet his energy levels).
This incredibly handsome fella has been in a foster home since he arrived in the UK several weeks ago, and he is doing so well. His foster family love him, but it is now time for him to find his forever home.
Monty is a friendly boy who loves all people! He loves to be fussed, cuddled and stroked, and is very much a gentle giant. We only know him to have experience with teenage children, whom he is very good with. Due to his size, we think that if there were to be children in his home that they’d be better to be older and more robust.
Sadly, Monty is quite scared of walking sticks and so this is something to keep in mind if you are thinking of adopting him.
Monty loves going for walks and is good on a lead. However, he is quite big and strong and so this should also be considered by potential adopters (we would not want to give him a home where his main carer was weak or frail).
Monty isn't very keen on other dogs and would be much happier being the only dog in his home.
Overall, Monty just needs a fit and active family who can give the love, attention and care this handsome boy deserves.
