This beautiful, ginger Tom has had such a sad start in life. He is my very healthy and affectionate stray, nicknamed 'Mow Mow'. He started coming to my house (mowing) over a year ago as I have female cats. By the amount of time he spent around my house, I realised he didn't have a home to go to. In that time, he lost weight and condition, he looked unwell, he was so scared of everything and completely alone in the world. I tried several times, on social media, to try and find an owner. After a year of him hanging around and seeing his decline, I fed him. He was starving. He was still very young and over time he came for his regular meals, still no owner ever came forward. At that point, he was feral. He hissed, he growled and wouldn't trust anyone near him. I reached out to cat rescues in the area and luckily one of them helped me trap him. By this point he had a bad abscess on his arm from a cat fight. He stayed in my house until his operation date. He hid under furniture and I believed he was completely wild, never thought I would be able to touch him. The abscess was treated, he was neutered, flead and wormed. They offered to chip him to me but I decided he was his own little person, at that time, as he was so feral. Fast forward to today.. he has gained trust in me and he would never lay a claw. He accepts my pets.. all 5 dogs, 3 female cats and a tortoise! However, my dogs won't accept him. Every morning and every night, they're barking like mad. I have tried so many introductions. It is becoming hard for me, and my neighbours! This boy is SO READY for his forever home but he is very scared of men. He would ideally suit a lone female. He is used to living outside so he would need outdoor access in time. In return you would get the most beautiful, affectionate boy. An absolute ******************. In another life, I would keep him. Sadly, I can't. He needs a solid future, could you be the one? I require regular updates in the future.
