Hi all!
I am looking for a new home for my gorgeous boy scrappy, and please don’t be put off he is amazing and this is at no fault of his (it’s his breed) so please only consider accepting scrappy if you understand his breed
Scrappy is 10months old, he’s so loving, bouncy, such a big dope, he’s great with other dogs (we have another lurcher) great with kids (we have 2 sons ages 10 and 5) and is over all a really good dog. He loves his food! The only reason we have to rehome scrappy is his behaviour towards cats. I want to be transparent with everyone, he has attacked two cats now and they have unfortunately both died. This has put us in a horrible situation as there are many cats that live round the area and it isn’t fair for them to suffer because of scrappy.
But please don’t think scrappy is aggressive, because he really isn’t, he is so loving, it is just his breed to react to cats, rabbits, squirrels ect.
So please only consider him if you are a cat free home, or any small animals (small dogs are fine) and not surrounded by cats
Am happy for anyone to meet him, and I will not let him go to anyone I do not feel has his best interests as this has been such a hard decision for us as a family.
Scrappy is fully vaccinated, chipped, has monthly flea and worm treatment from the vets, and has regular check ups.
