Oh Walter… you are just too cute ❤️🐾
Walter was taken in on a temporary basis and very kindly fostered by our emergency fosterer who absolutely adored this boy. He is currently in a foster home, including a small pug/Frenchie cross called Olive.
Little Olive and Walter play away together and he’s so good with her. She is a lively one
He also walks out with the female bullies in the home fine. He's not a fan of the male bully in the home though (nothing personal) but he’s done really so well to say he’s always lived alone.
So unfortunately his owner is still in hospital long term. After a heartbreaking decision, he will be unable to continue caring for Walter as he needs to be looked after with full time carers and in a specialised rehabilitation home.
So Sir Walter is looking for his new home ..
Here’s his wish list …
1. To have an understanding of his breed. He is no jogger, but more a cushion lover.
2. He needs a health weight reducing diet, which he is currently on and has lost a few pounds already and feeling slimmer and healthier (raw feeding).
3. A short stroll out maybe twice a day, with lots of snoring in between.
4. A life filled with love and understanding, not for a busy home - more steady retirement please.
5. No cats (not cat tested)
6. No male resident dogs
6. Can live alone or with another steady female dog.
7. Not to be left alone for too long, he loves human company.
Walter walks nicely on a lead, he very much has a 'gets on with it' attitude but doesn’t need dogs jumping all over him (unless it’s olive of course!)
Can be met locally in Nottinghamshire.
