Jolene is an 11yo female cat, with a clean bill of health. She is very loving, enjoys human presence above all and will fill your home from day one. When you come home, Jolene will run to welcome you, chirping with joy.
She is an absolutely wonderful cat, friendly with everybody, but unfortunately, despite following all recommended guidelines and the help of a behaviourist for the past 10 months, she is finding it difficult to share human attention with our other cat. We believe she would thrive more in a single-cat home, where she can provide love and companionship and have her owners undivided attention.
Jolene is very relaxed and calm, but still has a kitten spirit, she enjoys playing with toys and will jump and pounce with confidence. She will make sure you know when she wants cuddles, nudging at you or meowing. She also knows to accept when cuddle-time is over and will happily retreat to her bed, for a nap or lounging in the sun.
When we adopted her, she instantly settled in the new environment and with us. Within hours, she was eating, using her litter box, napping in her new bed and sitting on our lap, no accidents or damage at all.
Jolene is all in all a fantastic companion and this was not a decision taken lightly.
We have put a lot of effort into her introduction into the home, but ultimately, we need to prioritise what's best for both Jolene and our cat. We hope that if you have read this far, it's because you are truly interested in Jolene, and committed. We are not interested in any money, we just want to find a loving home.
