❤️🐶 MULAN – BEAUTIFUL, BRILLIANT & READY TO BECOME SOMEONE’S BEST FRIEND 🐶❤️ 🇬🇧🐾 UK ABANDONDED 🐾🇬🇧 🏠 LOOKING FOR COMMITTED FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME - OUR AIM IS TO GET HER OUT OF KENNELS ASAP🏠 📍 Currently with Leicester, partner rescue kennels 🌟 RBU, post-adoption support & 4 weeks insurance provided upon adoption (on request) 🌟 Sometimes rescues help each other — because ultimately it doesn't matter whose logo is above a dog's photo. What matters is finding THAT dog the right home. ❤️ We recently received a call from another rescue asking whether we could help find a very special home for Mulan. Mulan is only around 9–10 months old, a Belgian Malinois cross girl who was found as a stray. Nobody came to claim her, and she is now growing up and very struggles in rescue kennels. And what a girl she is. 😍 Clever, incredibly sociable, affectionate, eager to learn and absolutely full of potential. She adores people, is good with children and can socialise well with friendly dogs. But kennel life is becoming increasingly difficult for such a young, intelligent and people-orientated dog and she struggles very much with being separated in kennels. Mulan needs LIFE — walks, training, learning, adventures and, most importantly, her own people. ✨ Highlights ✨ • SIZE: Large, still a young growing dog • SPAYED: Not yet – due to her age and breed, spaying ideally should be at age 13-14 months; rescue will contribute • CHARACTER: Super sociable • Affectionate • Extremely clever • Active • Eager to learn • DOGS: Can socialise well with friendly dogs during controlled introductions; can currently be reactive when seeing dogs on walks • CHILDREN: Good with children, best with 12+ due to youthful enthusiasm • CATS: No information • TRAINING: Very intelligent, food-motivated and quick to learn 🐾 More About Mulan Mulan has one of those wonderful dog brains that loves to do something. She is incredibly clever, learns quickly with treats and has already made excellent progress with the team working on her lead training. She is friendly with everyone she meets and loves being around people. She can also enjoy the company of sociable dogs when introductions are properly managed. Mulan is still effectively a big puppy, and we don't expect her to arrive knowing everything. What she needs is someone excited about teaching her. Positive training, puppy or young-dog classes, enrichment and giving that clever brain a job will help turn all her potential into something wonderful. 🐾 Her biggest challenge at present is being left alone. Mulan struggles with separation and needs a home where somebody can initially be with her virtually all the time or take her along with them. Teaching her to stay alone will need to happen VERY gradually. Her future family must be prepared for this to take several months rather than expecting her to cope immediately. 🏡 Ideal Home This is not a dog for somebody simply attracted to how beautiful Belgian Malinois are. We are looking for people with experience of Malinois, or similarly intelligent, active dogs — people who genuinely enjoy training and want a dog to become part of their lifestyle. Someone home-based, early retired but active, working from home, or able to take Mulan with them would be ideal. She needs proper daily exercise, mental stimulation, positive training and people committed to helping her develop into the incredible adult dog she has every potential to become. And the reward? Potentially your clever, loyal, adventure-loving best friend for the next 15 years. ❤️ 💞 Mulan didn't choose to become a stray. She didn't choose kennel life. But somewhere out there could be the person who looks at this brilliant young girl and sees everything she CAN become. She has the brains. She has the personality. She has the love. Now she needs someone prepared to give her commitment to bring out the very best in her. ❤️🐾 🩺 Health Information Mulan is fit and healthy, vaccinated, flea-treated and wormed. She is not yet spayed due to her young age and size; this needs to be addressed when she is 13-14 months old, with rescue contribution towards the cost. 💌 If you can offer foster or foster-to-adopt home, please fill out a form: 🔗 Foster-to-Adopt/Adoption Form : https://forms.gle/vHdDRdjFzXngqzUC9 🔗 Foster Form: https://forms.gle/yE66hpgwdU9bnQsAA 📩 Already applied before?
