Reluctantly looking for a home for our hedgehog boy. We have had him since October 2024 when we got him at 3-4months old.
Unfortunately he isn't getting all the attention he deserves.
Looking for a 5* home with someone with knowledge or someone that has thoroughly researched African hedgehogs.
He normally wakes up around 9:30-10pm naturally. he' happy to be picked up during the day aswell, he will huff and puff to start with but quickly calms.
He is quite a shy hog and will stay in a ball for abit. He likes to be walked around when he will open up to be nosey and will give you a lick to see if you taste nice. He has never bitten.
He comes with a Viv which we purchased second hand so it shows signs of use. There's a small hole in the side where the previous owners put a water bottle through for their hedgehog but hogs drink from a bowl so we just covered this over with paper.
He eats cat biscuits and morio worms.
He goes to the toilet on the puppy pad.
He is my baby and this is a sad sell so wanting the best, someone that can get him out every evening to build his confidence.
