Description

Her story: Rosie is a truly special young lady, born around January 2025. She was rescued from the public shelter/kill station together with her siblings, and is now safe in a private shelter. But it’s clear she longs for her own loving family – somewhere she can finally blossom and share all the affection she has to give. 📅 Date of Birth: estimated January 2025 (puppy) 📏 Height: approx. 35/40 cm (can be measured on request) 🏷 Type: based on appearance, Rosie may be a mix with influences of Jack Russell, Whippet and Sheltie, giving her her elegant look, compact size and gentle charm. Looks & charm Rosie is the perfect “just right” size – small enough to take anywhere, but big enough to be a true companion. Her graceful build and soft expression make her a joy to look at, and her presence immediately warms the heart. Character Rosie is affectionate, sweet and loves human attention. She also gets along well with other dogs and enjoys being part of a group. At the same time, she is still a little reserved and will need patient, gentle guidance to gain full confidence. Ideal home Rosie needs adopters with love, time and understanding – people who know how to gently guide a shy or sensitive dog. She is not suitable for a home where she would be left alone for long full-time working days. The company of a stable, balanced dog would be a wonderful support for her, but this is not a requirement if her adopters themselves have enough time to guide her and be there for her. A dog-proof garden with a secure, high fence and gates is essential. This allows Rosie to safely explore, do her needs, and gradually get used to wearing a harness, walking on a lead, and training in a safe environment. Later, once she feels secure, she will enjoy going out on walks – but at first she needs the chance to adjust at her own pace. Rosie will thrive in a calm home without very young children, as she needs a peaceful environment to feel safe. With patience and gentle care, she will slowly blossom – like a flower opening in its own time – and show the beauty of her true self. ✨ Rosie is a beautiful little soul – compact, elegant, and full of love – who just needs the right people to show her the world can be kind. 📩 If you’re touched by Rosie’s story and think she could be the one for you, please get in touch:Friends InDeed is a registered charity organization. A home check (sometimes even online) is mandatory before any adoption. We do not place dogs with people who do not genuinely love dogs — there are too many lives depending on us, and we cannot be too careful! To adopt one of our dogs, you must have your own garden and no children under the age of 10. We do not provide working dogs, service dogs, or assistance dogs — no matter how noble or well-intentioned the purpose may be. If you adopt ROSIE, she will live with you as a beloved family pet, cared for and cherished as she truly deserves. You also agree to keep in touch with us so that we can assist you with any questions or challenges that might arise. We prefer to communicate by phone or WhatsApp, as we both work during the day and have limited access to emails. It’s also much easier — we can exchange all the necessary information at once. If you wish, we can arrange a video call so you can see ROSIE live before meeting her in person. We are a 100% genuine and transparent rescue, fully dedicated to saving lives. We are actively involved in spaying and neutering stray dogs and finding them loving homes. We reserve the right to request a different adoption fee or donation for our shelter dogs, depending on individual circumstances. In most cases, our costs are not fully covered. We stay in touch with all our adopters — more than 500 families so far — and can provide excellent references upon request. Please note: we receive many meaningless messages and calls. We kindly ask — no time wasters, please! Thank you so much for your understanding and compassion. Warm regards, Adrian & Maria Friends InDeed Animal Rescue
