We are very honoured to announce that our beloved dame is expecting her first and only litter, due on the 18th of November.
The dame is an Alaunt-type dog, from a long bloodline of the Alaunt, which is the progenitor for the French Alan and others, like the Great Dane, Mastiff, Boxer, and Alano Español. They are often working dogs. The Alaunt-type dog has great lean muscle build; they are strong and highly energetic. They will make perfect working dogs, due to their intelligence. They are known for their brilliant, highly developed senses and are very loyal.
Most of our dame’s siblings are police dogs and sniffer dogs that currently work at airports, they have gone through extensive training with passing colours.
Our girl was supposed to go through this intensive training, but due to Covid and travel restrictions, she ended up being a fabulous family dog and “couch potato” that thinks she is the size of a Chihuahua! She has a gentle nature and is very good with other animals and kids.
After much consideration, we decided to pair our girl with Brodie, a Hungarian Vizla who has been shown in Croft's yearly since 2023. The dogs are very similar in size and build.
Both dogs are fully health-checked and have a gorgeous nature to them. They are perfect family dogs that only bark on command.
All puppies will be introduced to a comprehensive multi-sensory socialisation programme and neurological stimulation. (ENS) Early neurological stimulation. From an early age, they will experience a variety of textures to walk on and explore, as well as being introduced to noises and sensory inputs to help them become resilient individuals. We personally find that exposure to various sounds is especially important. This will include gentle exposure to simulated fireworks, gunfire, and white noise. We will incorporate touch, smell, and taste as well. This will help them grow into confident and very well-balanced, and adjusted dogs.
All of our pups will only know love and cuddles and the highest standards of welfare. They will be microchipped, dewormed and have their first vaccination. A signed contract of ownership will be a necessity.
We are incredibly proud of this litter and look forward to sharing updates as we welcome these special puppies into the world.
