Description

Due to marriage breakdown, and not having enough time for the love sponge, im sadly looking to find him a new home. He's great with cats, will play with them, quite vocally and what looks very rough, but its gentle, he will bite my cat round the back of the neck, play growling and stuff but the cat could so easily get away and she will have him chase her then she chases him back, its really funny. He does have little man anxiety and barks at people but does respond to correction and visitors should not try and encourage him to them when hes doing this, we ignore the behaviour and it stops quicker. The more you feed these behaviours the worse they get. He barks at the door when there's someone there, knocking or doorbell, but not the telly, he is crate trained, he hasn't been massively destructive but will shred paper or tissues given the chance, loves to pull the stuffing out of teddy bears and I cant put my pug doorstop on the floor because he wants to eat it. He is toilet trained and clean indoors. He will happily sleep 10hours overnight in crate and I leave loose in the day. Recall on walks next to zero. Do not trust him. He will go running up to dogs and people barking at them and basically requiring an asbo, and even if youre being careful, checking for other dogs, he will see them before you, also, you try catching the little turd when you want to put him back on the lead or get him away from the poor people he is terrorising! If he is correctly introduced to another dog, and has calmed his tit's and stopped barking and the other dog is cool with it, then he can totally be let off to have a run around ans old socialise, but hes still going to run off to another dog if he sees one, he isn't aggressive but approaching others in that way is just not acceptable. He has a slip lead which I will show you how to use and what to do with it, he will only behave on that. You could absolutely use an extendable lead, but only in situations where its appropriate for him to be off lead, because you cant correct him without the slip lead. No allergies, medical history etc. His vaccines are out of date, i just dont bother with it. Wormed, microchipped. Got both balls, and his nails dont grow šŸ˜ but hes a massive tart to brush and he does need a brush behind his ears and his bum and tail hair, he absolutely hates it and I trim him up when I groom him because of this. He is an absolute love sponge, an attention whore, everyone loves him and he loves everyone once hes shouted at them and calmed down again. He doesn't have separation anxiety so can be left all day no stress, but when youre with him, he wants to lay ON YOUR FACE he's so desperate 🤣and so gay 🤣 He currently eats raw, but he can be fussy and go off things, I feel that he would suit grazing off biscuits throughout the day, which cant do with the pugs around 🤣 I often only offer him food once a day as have had more success with that if I feed him in his way. I never worry if hes not eaten for a couple of days, I dont give treats or anything, the most they get is broccoli stalks which he will, bizarrely, eat. KC registered Microchipped Flea & wormed Hereditary pra clear from breeder Carries choc & is Tan pointed under the cream. Has sired litters and covers naturally with no fuss.
