Description

PLEASE READ. Experienced homes only. No small children. Adult only home preferred. Very timid kitten. She is scared of practically everything except other cats. This is a really heartbreaking decision, but we simple cannot give her what she needs right now. She needs an owner who can help rehabilitate her and show her that humans are safe. Sadly, my house is a little rowdy right now with two young children, who she is absolutely terrified of. She spends her whole day at the top of the cat tree and refuses to move unless being fed. She loves other cats though, she absolutely adores my cat and wants to be near him constantly, which makes this decision even harder as they have bonded really well. She is vary wary of humans, she hisses as you approach etc but does not actually bite or scratch. Its just all fear based. She does like to be smoothed and a chin scratch but on her terms only. Backstory: we purchased her in May, she was advertised as a 'well socialised kitten  used to kids etc' all false!  immediately I knew something was off, but I couldn't leave her in that environment, I really hoped that once she was out of there and in a safe place she would start to settle, but there hasn't really been much change towards humans, so I have no doubt in my mind that she has been abused by her breeder. I sadly I just don't have the time to help her heal and I can't risk her turning on one of my children (who are very respectful and keep their distance) or us. I have not had her microchipped or vaccinated as I did not want to register a cat I might not be able to keep. She is up to date with flea and wormer. She will come with remainder of her food, blanket and anxiety Teddy. Genuine enquiries only.
