Two dachshunds named Copernicus (male - 5yrs) and Moneypenny (female - 3yrs). Not biologically brother and sister but were raised together. These two are practically inseparable!
Copernicus was hit by a car at 1 year old but thankfully had a successful surgery and has been very healthy since. Unfortunately, he can no longer get up and down stairs on his own, but can do steps. Otherwise, they are both in perfect health and are up to date on all of their vaccinations.
These two are extremely affectionate, enjoy frequent walks, and LOVE cuddles on the sofa. They have had some previous house training but we recently moved into an apartment and their training admittedly has slipped a bit. They do much better with a back garden that they can frequently go in and out of.
We are relocating our family to California and aren’t able to take them with us, so we’re looking for a loving forever home. We do require that these two stay together, as they are very dependent on one another at this point. We would also prefer an owner with previous dachshund experience.
We love these dogs and are reluctant to have to give them up, so we are very committed to finding a safe and happy home for them and will be selective in doing so. Please reach out to us with any questions!
