DescriptionWe are delighted to announce the arrival of 11 exceptional Labrador puppies. Due to this being a large litter we are opening up the reservation list again. Chocolate and black male puppies available. Only chocolate females available.
No expense has been spared in planning this litter. Both parents are not only fully health tested themselves but through all generations. DNA test clear, Hips and elbows tested. Clear unaffected eye tests. Copies available to view.
Inbreeding coefficient for this litter is extremely low at 2.3%, (breed average is 6.5%). Very rarely is this ever heard of so low in labradors. This is due to the inclusion of international show champions in the pedigree bringing in genetic diversity.
Both sire and dam have a laid back family dog nature, but work during the season, showing excellent steady temperaments, they have both been a dream to train.
Dam and sire are true to type labradors, good heads, strong bone with a stocky body, but able to do a days work effortlessly. This alongside a fabulous ‘off switch’ to lie in front of the fire doing nothing when needed made them an ideal pairing.
The puppies are beautiful rich chocolate with lovely dark eyes and noses and the blacks are jet black.
Both dogs have been exceptionally easy to train and progeny of the stud dog have gone on to be guide dogs, work on shoots or make amazing family pets. This is mums first litter.
Puppies are raised in the heart of our home, in the kitchen. They have been around all the bustle of a family home from birth.
Puppies will be KC registered, microchipped, first vaccine, wormed every 2 weeks. They come with a full puppy pack including puppy contract, care and training information, a 2kg bag of food, goats milk, Collar and lead, blanket, toy and an acme 211.5 whistle as they will be recall whistle trained before they leave. They will also have started outdoor house training from 5 weeks old and been exposed to the sights and sounds of other dogs, sheep, donkeys, horses, goats and chickens daily. We also have two children who are fully involved in their care.
Puppies eyes opened this weekend and once they are starting eating solid food they will be having fresh goats milk daily alongside their food. This is from our own goats and ensures they get the best possible start.
They will be available to view from 27th April but we welcome all enquiries now and are taking viewing bookings.
Puppies will have a lifetime of support and training help is also included for life.
