I have made a very tough decision to rehome Ted, a black rare male maltipoo. He is one years old. We’ve had him since November 2024. He was born on 2nd August. He was purchased from a home breeder - merry maltipoos. His parents have 3 generation pedigree. I have details of his parents which I can share with you. He is up to date with worm and flea treatment. He is due his injection next month (which I’m happy to do) he has never been to the vet for any illness. He has not been castrated.
He is a wonderful dog however I’m finding it difficult with two dogs which is why I’ve made the decision to rehome Ted. It’s not an easy decision but one I’ve made for me and my family. He is used to having another small dog around but I think with time he would be fine on his own aswell as long as you work from home or are around most of the time. I do leave him up to 4-5hrs. He has been fine with that but he has another dog with him.
Ted is excitable when he greets you which is lovely. He is obedient, crate trained, sleeps in crate from 9pm until 7am. He eats well and quite food orientated. He loves chicken,cheese and blueberries. He enjoys going out on walks short or longer he is not fussed. He is very affectionate and loves to snuggle on sofa next to you (I should say plonk himself next to you) or by your feet. He can get excited when out on walks but after 5mins he settles down and walks lovely. He does bark randomly at other dogs- he is friendly and just wants to say hello. It’s short lived. He has never been aggressive.
He has grown up around two children who he adores. I think he likes the attention.
Ideally I would like to find him a home where the owners are at home. This is so hard so I will be fussy and he will only go to 5* home. No silly offers please. He is absolutely wonderful.
