Elsy 🐾
is with her current owner but due to personal circumstances will need to find a new forever home for her. They have had Elsy since 2020.
Location: Spondon, Derby
• I am a medium sized female crossbreed from Romania and I am approximately 5 years old.
• I am a very playful and affectionate girl and I love cuddles.
• I would love a home with another active doggy friend to play.
• I could maybe live as an only dog if someone is around a lot of the time but I must be socialised with other dogs on a regular basis.
• I am nervous around some people and some dogs when I first meet them whilst out walking and can be reactive towards unknown dogs through fear and with visitors to the house but my confidence is improving all the time.
• I would love a calm home where someone is around a lot of the time and any time left alone I am usually ok with.
• I try to sit down calmly while my owner places my harness on me.
• I travel ok in a car in a harness and seatbelt but am still nervous.
• I walk well on my lead and harness, without sudden distraction and enjoy long walks and off the lead if it is quiet.
• I am inquisitive and enjoy new sights and smells.
• I can be a little nervous of loud noises and fast movements in the house and outside, things such as bikes and pushchairs. But I am ok with traffic.
• I am still nervous of car travel and become very quiet, but have travelled for long country walks and to the seaside.
• I sleep well at night in a bed in the kitchen.
• I am house trained but I may need some help in a new home.
• I really enjoy my food and I can be fed in the same room with other dogs as I am not food aggressive.
• I love to play fetch with a ball or stick.
• I love water, especially the seaside.
• I am a very clever girl, my recall is very good especially for treat.
• I can live with dog savvy children aged 10+ who will also respect my space.
• I have not been around cats and therefore not cat tested.
• I am microchipped and have been spayed.
• I am 4DX snap tested with negative results, have had my rabies vaccination.
