About Me & My Breeding Goals:
I’m an animal lover with over 7 years of experience breeding rodents. My small, selective breeding groups are carefully planned to avoid overbreeding and stress for the mothers. My main breeding goals focus on health, longevity, size, and color—including pure black dumbo rats, solid silver/blue greys, Siamese, and fawn.
⸻
How My Rats Are Raised:
• Fed a nutritious, varied diet (with cooked dinner!)
• Housed on Aubiose bedding (sometimes Snowflake Supreme)
• Wooden pellet litter with pee stones used in trays
• Socialized daily to encourage confidence and friendliness
⸻
What You Should Know Before Adopting:
• Rats live 2–3 years on average
• Rats are highly sociable animals, and ideally need to be housed in pairs as a minimum requirement. Bigger groups of 3+ are preferred.
• They are sensitive to dust, so sneezing can happen, especially in new environments
• Cage suitability matters! Bar spacing, ventilation, and space are important. (I personally use Midwest Critter Nation cages as a reference, but there are other good options too.)
• Personalities vary—some rats may be shy at first, even if handled daily. Continued interaction is essential to build trust and a strong bond.
Please make sure you do your own independent research before considering taking on Rats.
I strongly encourage viewing in person so you can meet the babies and see which one’s are the best fit for you.
