We have two girl one long haired Yorkshire cream and 1 short haired chocolate and tan and 1 long haired dappled boy all are dog live in the house with us and not in kennel both mum and dad are kc reg but kc do not recognise log haired and short haired dachshund as the same breed daffy I know but that’s kc

Communication from the breeder was excellent all the way through from me reserving my pup to the day of collection. Always happily responded to all of my questions . They even kept him a bit longer than planned until I finished work which was a god send. Thankyou so much, he’s settled in fine and due for his 2nd injections next week . Highly recommend

They were incredibly kind and helpful. I was unable to pick my pup up until a little later than usual and they were very accommodating and kept her for an extra few weeks to help me out.
Pros
Extremely affectionate and loyal little dogs
Very intelligent Dachshunds learn quickly and know how to please
Fun-loving and playful by nature
Energetic and feisty Dachshunds like to be kept entertained
Cons
Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
The breed is known to suffer from quite a few health concerns so vet bills can be high and why pet insurance is so important for anyone owning a Dachshund
