Cosmo
This is Cosmo. He’s a 4.5 year old Maine Coon mix boy who loves interacting with people.
He’s an indoor cat, coming from a multi-cat household. He was raised with a sibling but we adopted him alongside our existing cats. He’s fine with two of them but unfortunately doesn’t get on at all with the other, which has made it unmanageable. Sadly we need to re-home him as both him and the other cat are getting unnecessarily stressed during altercations.
For this reason I would recommend he’s not brought in to a household with existing cats.
Things to know about Cosmo:
- He loves food, and will beg for food. He goes absolutely wild for dairy - cream, yoghurt, cheese - he has a spidey sense for it :)
- He loves human interaction - he loves strokes but is particularly fond of sleeping on my chest.
- He is a *big cat* - as expected for a Maine Coon! We haven’t weighed him recently but estimating around 7KG.
- He doesn’t have spatial awareness - if you expect him to move out of your path, he will not :)
It’s breaking our hearts to let him go because he is a lovely cat and has a great bond with us, but sadly it isn’t fair on him or our other cat to be unnecessarily stressed, so for his own benefit he’d be better off being re-homed.
