Dachshund, often referred to as 'weiner dogs', 'sausage dogs' or 'badger dogs', is a breed known for its distinctive, elongated shape. Often lively and affectionate, Doxies have a reputation for being bold and somewhat stubborn, yet this adds to their unique charm making them ideal, engaging companions. Though small, a Dachshund requires regular exercise due to its energy levels and to maintain a healthy weight.
