Hungarian Vizslas are extremely intelligent, handsome and athletic hunting dogs with a golden coat and matching eyes. As their name suggests, they originated in Hungary, where they were originally bred for hunting and where they have always been highly prized. Recently, however, the breed has gained popularity as a family and companion dog in many other countries around the world, and for good reason. The Vizsla is a noble, friendly and extremely loyal dog, and once it has formed a strong bond with its owners, it becomes a valued member of a household, liking nothing better than to take part in everything that goes on around the house.
