The Yorkshire Terrier, often referred to as a Yorkie, establishes itself as a small breed with a big personality. Originating from England, this dog is known for its striking coat, typically a steel-blue and tan color, that is silky to the touch and contrary to many breeds, it is non-shedding. Sporting a compact size, Yorkshire Terriers are classified into two types, standard and teacup, the latter being notably smaller.
