We’re sadly looking to rehome our adorable 3-year-old Dachshund due to moving abroad and being unable to take him with us. His weight is around 11 kg and he is a medium sized dachshund.
He’s a sweet, affectionate, and loyal little dog who loves cuddles, exploring outdoors, and spending time with his people. He is healthy, and up to date with vaccinations and microchip.
He has a big personality — confident, curious, energetic and sometimes thinks he’s the boss! Like many Dachshunds, he can be a bit anxious and protective. With gentle reassurance and a patient owner, he quickly settles and shows his loving, playful side.
He would be happiest in a home with plenty of space to run around — ideally a house with a garden or a farm, where he can explore safely and feel secure.
We’re heartbroken to part with him, so we’re looking for a kind and experienced person or family who can give him the love, understanding, and space he deserves.
We are looking for a family who would be familiar with the dachshund temperament and their specific needs: barking and separation anxiety.
We have been mostly working from home and rarely have left him alone, so we are searching for a family who would not leave him alone or who would train him to be by himself.
