This is honestly one of the most painful things I’ve ever had to do, but I’m having to rehome my beautiful cat, Weeny. She’s not just a pet to me she’s family. This isn’t her fault in the slightest. My partner and I are currently homeless and living in a hostel, and we’ve been told we can’t keep her here any longer. I’m absolutely devastated, but I know I have to do what’s best for her, even if it breaks my heart.
Weeny is 4 years old and the most loving, loyal cat you could ever meet. She’s neutered, vaccinated, housetrained, recently flea and worm treated, and just had her nails clipped. She’s healthy, happy, and full of affection. She loves to curl up on your lap, snuggle under the duvet, and follow you around the house like a little shadow. She’s more like a dog than a cat in a lot of ways, she just wants to be near you and feel loved.
She’s lived both indoors and outdoors and would really benefit from a home that can offer her a bit of both, a safe garden to explore and a warm, comfortable space inside where she can relax and feel safe. She’s incredibly human focused and thrives on attention, so she’d be perfect for someone who’s around a lot and wants a real companion. She also gets on well with other cats, I’ve got pictures of her curled up with her sister from a while back.
She’ll come with her collar, her bowl, and some of her current food to help her settle. I’m asking for a £50 fee, not because she’s “for sale,” but to make sure she goes to someone genuine. Sadly, in my area, there are people who do terrible things to cats, such as use them to train fight dogs and I need to know she’s going somewhere safe, where she’ll be loved as much as she is now.
I love Weeny more than words can say. This isn’t a decision I’ve made lightly, and I’m in bits over it. I just want her to have the life she deserves, one full of love, safety, and cuddles. If you think you could offer her that, please message me. I’d love to have a chat and make sure it’s the right fit! I ****** by train up to an hour to drop her off if needs be included in the fee as I currently can't accept collection due to my living circumstances.
