Meet Apricot 🍑
Hi everyone, I’m Apricot — a 4 year old bundle of sunshine who’s just so grateful for my second chance at life, thanks to the amazing team at Freedom Angels!
I’m a happy, affectionate girl who loves people, dogs, cats, and kids — but my absolute favourite things in the whole world are cuddles and tummy rubs. I’ve got the biggest smile and the kindest heart, and I’m learning all about how to be a good girl in a loving home again.
My foster mum says I’m doing really well with my house training — I’m learning to let her know when I need to go outside, and I’m getting more confident every day! I walk nicely on the lead and love exploring the outdoors. Sometimes I still get a little anxious when cars go by, but with praise and reassurance, I’m improving all the time.
I’m very gentle and have no aggression at all — even when my cheeky kitten foster sisters climb all over me or chase my tail while I’m napping! I live with three children who adore me, but I’m just as content when it’s a quiet evening with my foster mum.
I’m food-motivated (yum!) and learning to slow down at mealtimes, especially with my special bowl to help me eat politely.
I’m just a sweet, loving girl ready to find my forever family — someone who’ll give me cuddles, patience, and a cozy spot on the sofa.
Could that be you? 💕
Her Story
Apricot was cruelly dumped in front of a shop in a nearby village. When she was taken to the vet, she had a dangerously high fever, and bloodwork revealed a severe infection. She underwent emergency neutering surgery to save her life and prevent septicemia. Thanks to quick action and lots of care, Apricot pulled through — and now she’s healthy, thriving, and ready for her forever family.
