It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my beloved English Bulldog, Kiko. Kiko is 6 years old, born on 1 September 2020, and he is a deeply loved and cherished part of my life. He is a wonderful dog who is generally excellent with people and other dogs, and this decision has not been made lightly.
Due to my age and ongoing health issues, I am no longer able to give Kiko the level of care, attention, and consistency he truly deserves. As heartbreaking as this is for me, I must put Kiko’s well-being first and find him a home where he can thrive.
In the interest of complete honesty, there has been one incident in the past where Kiko did bite. This was entirely out of character for him and occurred during a moment where I handled the situation poorly and was far too aggressive when telling him off. It is not reflective of his usual nature, but it is something I feel is important to be transparent about so that he can be placed with the right person or family who understands dogs and can provide calm, confident handling.
Kiko deserves a second chance to live his best life in a loving, stable home where he can receive the care, patience, and affection he needs. I am looking for a dedicated and understanding individual or family who will welcome him as part of their lives and give him the future he deserves.
