It is with a heavy heart we have to say goodbye to Ra. He is around 10 years old (he was a stray so no one knows his age for certain) and loves sleep and food. He loves Lick-e-Lix and especially chicken. He also loves to just sit in the garden and enjoy the sun. He’s a very laid back cat but gets very stressed if he’s not allowed to go outside so it’s essential that is new keeper is able to let him to go outside. He gets a little stressed by very young children as he’s a bit older but not grumpy. He LOVES strokes and affection and will happily sit on your knee. He’s a very affectionate cat.
He had his most recent check-up this month, he is microchipped, fleaed and wormed..
Unfortunately, Ra has some health issues. We don’t have the money to pay for what he needs so we don’t think it’s fair that we have him. He has a heart murmur for which he needs a scan and his teeth aren’t in great condition and this makes him drool. This makes him smelly because he grooms and it also gets smelly where he’s been sleeping/drooling. His current vet will not do any dental work until he has a scan which we cannot afford. His heart murmur was detected upon us taking him to the vet the day we found him and this was prior to us getting his insurance so it was not covered. It is heartbreaking knowing he needs some medical care and we are hoping a loving person will be able to love him and do for him what he truly deserves.
