Description

AVAILABLE-‘Scout’ a🌸 sensitive, shy & hopelessly passive soul of medium size 1.5-2yrs How do I with the power of words bring this gentle soul into the light for you? Can I individualise him in a way that really does him justice? I don’t think so because with a wealth of vocabulary it cannot translate his aura, his presence & the desperation to bridge the gulf between what is and what should have & could be. Scout is waiting to blossom and like a composed samurai who think looking for the perfect blossom wouldn’t be a wasted life, scout is waiting for his person- all his life. His reservations will dissolve with trust & in time he will melt into your arms. His eyes could in themselves melt a glazier. In the vets words, “This is a male dog, 1.5-2 years old..., very timid and shy.... he is Ranger's brother...he was timid now I'm cuddling him by the neck and petting him.... He's looking for a home, there's no chance for one like that in Bulgaria, his option is on the street.....” What she means by that is that Scout is at risk and the reason he and so many wouldn’t survive as homeless dogs is because they are NOT feral- they are not street savvy dogs- they are abandoned often as babies & grow up in the shelters. Even if they find themselves there as seniors their ability to survive as deserted dogs is zero. They cannot fend for themselves. Until you’ve seen one of these souls hoping to latch onto anyone that might be kind-your heart hasn’t truly fractured- the little shadows with tails between their legs because of what they’ve endured at the hands of humans put their faith there again and hold onto the faint hope of salvation. They so badly want to be loved. That’s Scout. His brother ‘Ranger’ was the exuberant one and whilst they were both in the pound together & experienced the same misfortunes Scout was the more sensitive to that. Then when Ranger was picked he lost his hero & thus waits quietly and gently for the same luck to find him. He will be well matched to a family who want a docile & gracious presence who is flourishing every day into a loyal and affectionate pal. Scout will be low maintenance as he can be on his own, easy to be around, is tranquil, doesn’t need a lot and what he does require any animal lover with patience and compassion can provide. A garden is a bonus though not a necessity and other dogs whether resident or doggy play dates would be beneficial. He likes canine company, calm & caring children & will with his collie/ shepherd mix make a joyful and devoted household member. ‘Scouts’ credentials Sex: male Weight: around 17kg approximately at time of writing Coat: smooth / short Breed: mixed herding & collie possibly Size: nice medium not too big Age: 1.5-2yrs approximately Castrated Complete bloods negative passport/ microchipped/ tick Vaccinated Health certificate Clinical inspection prior to departure Dog trained Children Been around cats Men/women No food possession seen / reported Other dogs Transport fee (listed where applicable) & home check applies.
