Meet Spot, he is a 1-year-old Sprocker (Springer x Cocker Spaniel). He is microchipped and is up to date with his vaccinations. Spot is reserved at first but is friendly and affectionate with people he has got to know.
Spot is a quiet young dog who is atypical for his breed, Spot is friendly and affectionate but does take a while to get comfortable with new people, he is however happy with people once he gets to know them and is a very affectionate dog. He has a lovely character and would be happy in a more mature home without young children. Spot has had training in outdoor aspects including heelwork, sit, stay, down and ‘on your bed’. His recall training has been commenced but is not complete.
From the time we have spent with Spot we have found him to be a genuine, affectionate dog who loves to be with people he knows. Please note that Spot can be a little territorial around dominant males, but has been fine around other female dogs. Other than this he was progressing well in all other respects.
