Im having to make the heartbreaking decision to rehome my german shepherd puppy, Pope. He is the most amazing dog, and i love him so much, but due to a relationship breakdown and me no longer being able to support his needs I have to re home him. He is nearly eight months old, and he is honestly the best dog I ever could have asked for. He is incredibly easy to train and can sit, paw, lie down, spin, stay etc already. He’s very intelligent, and incredibly affectionate, he gives hugs where he puts his arms around your shoulders and loves to lay on the sofa with you. He’s also incredibly energetic, and loves to play with his toys. He would be great for a family with a lot of energy , or someone with a lot of space for him to run around. He is great with dogs, of both genders, he currently lives with a dog. He has been cat tested a couple of times and is great apart from wanting to chase them to play. He’s had all his puppy vaccinated and monthly flea and worm treatment. He is a dog that bonds for life and is so loyal, that i want him to go to his forever home with people that will appreciate him and can give him everything he needs. He’s great with strangers, incredibly friendly, and good on walks. He can pull slightly on leash but this is just puppy behaviour that needs to be worked out. I’m selling him for £500, but he is honestly worth so much more. I truly wish i didn’t need to re home him at all but I have no choice. He will come with harnesses and collars and leads, an XL crate if needed (although he doesn’t really use it), lots of toys, dog bowls, a dog bed and his vet and microchip papers. He is still very young so someone with knowledge of the breed or someone who is able to train him as he deserves would be great, he does have separation anxiety and can whine or bark when left alone for long periods, so could do with someone who isn’t gone for 8+ hours a day, but this would be easy enough to train if you had space to do so etc a house instead of a flat so that neighbours couldn’t hear him.
