Puppies produced from Kennel Club registered DNA health tested parents
My very well bred home bred and health tested kennel club registered working cocker bitch Ethel has produced a strong and healthy litter of 5 cockapoos.
I will tell you about the parents first as this is the absolute important bit as your puppies will be the result of selective breeding that has been well thought out for health and temperament , the second important bit is how I help Ethel raise the litter over the next 8 weeks to produce a well rounded confident puppy.
“ETHEL is a working cocker out of KC TARNOCK CLEVER CLOGS & KC HALSHANGER ANGEL KISS who I own also and can be seen , with her grandmother being champion for UK , there are champions through her lines, the working cocker is bred to be calm and quiet to do their job, they are a much better match for making cockapoos than show lines who are bred for how they look, not temperament .

“Rufus”. KC Be My Valentine is a miniature poodle, he is fully health tested and produces amazing progeny, he is a real gentlemen, I used him before for my other cocker and his stunning temperament has shown in all the puppies, the families are still all in touch 4 years on and are as pleased as punch with their dogs
I chose to do a first cross Cocker x poodle (F1’s) as you know exactly where you are with breeding, its a straight cross of Kennel club pedigree dogs. The coat tends to be less tangly , there is no such thing as a hypoallergenic non shedding coat, but they usually do not shed any hair …. they do however require grooming, but the first cross tends not to get matted and is a lot healthier, my previous litter do not Matt or shed hair.
The puppies, they have thrived from the minute they were born, , and literally growing into fat puddings in front of my eyes. Ethel is very calm with them producing a relaxed puppy.
Puppies are reared in my house so are compassionately being introduced to household noises, Cats, dogs, horses, goats, chickens and protected from being handled by children. People think puppies should be handled by children, this is not always a good ideas as children can be loud and clumsy, if you handle them carefully, by the time they are 8 weeks they are awesome with children.
The puppies are wormed at 3, 5 & 8 weeks and will be microchipped. They will also come with a puppy pack of goodies, health certificates and 5 generation pedigree for both parents
I will start their crate training before they leave so their first night away from home will be easier, I also offer a lifetime of advice, although after a few weeks I am sure you will be confident enough to enjoy your puppy for yourself.
Cockapoos are often described as needy dogs who cannot be left alone, this is total nonsense, you can create this in 2 ways:- Nature and nurture!
1 breeding from a nervous insecure bitch or sire, the puppy will be born nervous, there is not a lot you can do about this unfortunately, people should NEVER breed from nervous dogs. Ethel & Rufus are absolutely non of these things. If you do not buy one of my puppies please do your homework.
2 Nurture:- you can create separation anxiety in a dog as owners …and I will help you understand how to raise a confident puppy.
I will give you pointers in how to raise a well rounded puppy, but as the “hardware”will already be installed, these puppies should be easy to get right.

I’ve purposely bred these puppies to not be like the stereotypical cockapoos, I know my advert is probably not really of any interest to most families looking for a cute puppy, but I cannot stress how important this is, I see so many cockapoos in my place of work that are totally screwed up even before they are purchased at 8 weeks, and feel totally compassionate about this, all puppies are cute but they are not made equal sadly.

Guide to results
CLEAR Clear means we have tested for the mutation known to cause the disorder and have not found it. Tallys secret Ethel will not Develop the disorder and will not carry it.
Rufus tests are reported as :-
Rufus is a non carrier of the mutation PRCD-gene and will not develop prod form of PRA, since it cannot pass the mutation onto its offspring, it can be mated with any dog.
