With an incredibly heavy heart, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to find our beautiful boy the loving home he truly deserves. Reggie is a stunning Isabella and Tan Standard Dachshund, born 6th March 2025. This decision is absolutely no fault of his own. Due to recent job promotions, both of us are now working much longer hours while also raising two children, and we simply don’t feel we can give him the time, attention and enrichment he deserves. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, and we will only let him go to the right home. He is fully house trained, knows basic commands, and is a clever, affectionate boy who loves being with his people. He has a very strong, athletic build and is a healthy young dog with plenty of energy. He is still entire (not neutered). He is fully up to date with his vaccinations, flea and worming treatments, and has recently completed a full restart course of his vaccinations, so his new family can have complete peace of mind that everything is current. Like many young Dachshunds, he can be vocal on walks and will bark when he sees other dogs and people We always manage this by giving him space and keeping a comfortable distance, and he has never shown any aggression or attempted to bite another dog. He would benefit from someone who is happy to continue positive, reward-based training to help him become more confident around other dogs. He has so much potential and will thrive in a home where he has more time, companionship and ongoing training. We truly believe he will make an incredible companion for the right person or family. We’re asking for £500, which is half of what we originally paid for him. Please only get in touch if you can genuinely offer him the loving, committed forever home he deserves. This is an incredibly emotional decision for our family, and we want to know he’ll be loved, cherished and given the life he deserves.
