Description

Extremely sad rehoming of my beautiful girl. She is microchipped, spayed and fully vaccinated. She is also up to date with her flea & worming treatments. Sadly we were not told the full story with her when we got her at 6 months old having allegedly been the last of her litter. She had had zero training until this point and so we have started from scratch with her. She will sit; leave it; lay down; and fetch. She is house trained and sleeps in a crate overnight. She is a very kind soul, very friendly and loving. She is friendly with other dogs, loves to play, and inquisitive with cats but not nasty. She’s fine with children but due to her size and puppy bouncing ways, I would suggest older children (7+). On a lead she pulls strongly but we are slowly getting progress with this. This needs a lot more work before it is fixed. Recall - zero! We have tried and tried everything and had a trainer out and we are just getting nowhere. She will come back but has no stop button so she just runs and runs and only comes back when she’s had enough. It may be fixable but we cannot crack it. This is our main reason for having to rehome her due to where we live and our lifestyle we cannot have a dog with no recall, it’s not safe. We are heartbroken to have to rehome her but not too proud to admit we cannot train her adequately. I work from home a lot of the time, but when I do have to go out she is fine on her own now for up to 4 hours or so. Only serious people will be considered as she really needs the best home that has time and patience and the ability to train her recall and lead walking properly.
