Description
We’re heartbroken to even be writing this, but we are looking for a new home for our beautiful Husky, Mhyiah.
Since moving to a nearby farm, we’ve discovered that the environment simply isn’t the safest place for her. Her strong prey drive means she’s naturally very alert and interested in the horses, and despite our best efforts, we’re worried that the setting could put her at risk. Our priority is her wellbeing, which is why we’ve made the incredibly difficult decision to find a home that suits her needs better.
Mhyiah is fully house trained, wonderfully obedient, and a loving companion. She enjoys having her own space but is equally happy to share affection and be close to her people.
A few important things to know:
• She can get along with other dogs, but introductions must be done slowly and carefully, mandatory muzzle at first. She’s protective of her humans and may react if not introduced properly, so a home without other dogs would be best.
• She’s great around children—she enjoys attention and fuss, but she’ll also quietly remove herself if she’s had enough.
We want to be completely transparent because Mhyiah means the world to us, and it’s essential that she goes to someone who will love and understand her as much as we do. This is not a decision we’re taking lightly, and we will be making sure she finds the right, genuine forever home.
