Description

I'd like to introduce you to Willow! She will be 5 in May! I had made the decision to keep one of the puppies from Mollys ( Mum ) litter to keep her company as I was in bad health and in and out of hospital. Initially everything was good though Molly never bonded with Willow the way she bonded with her other pups. I made sure the rest of the litter went to amazing homes and they are still with their forever owners and im still in contact with them all. In hindsight it was the biggest mistake I made keeping Willow as Molly is a dominant female and does not tolerate Willow particularly well. I have countless fights that her mum starts and have been caught up in them, Willow is extremely submissive but lives on her nerves not knowing when the next strike will happen, I feel awful for them both as Molly clearly never wanted her to stay and Willow is just so stressed all the time that it gives her anxiety which result in her licking her paws constantly! The vets have told me to rehome her countless times as its not fair on either dog but I love Willow to bits and the thought of her not being around is heartbreaking, I did try before but couldn't bring myself to list her. I've tried training with them both but ultimately Molly doesn't want Willow here! All Willow wants and needs is a full belly and lots and lots of hugs, she really is a lapdog with a massive personality! She isnt high energy as might be expected and is happy to spend her days chilling but is also very happy going out on long walks or just travelling in the car with her head out of the window! Shes good off lead but does pull on lead like most dogs! She has a hatred of hi-vis and postmen and will protect you if a threat comes to the door or onto your property! She can have the typical ear issues so has 1 steroid a day just to prevent a flare up, she is a bit overweight as she doesn't go out as much as she should due to my mobility and the fact I cant take them both out at the same time if they are on the lead, off the lead they are absolutely fine together and in the car they are good together! The reason I am doing this now is because a friend put a big spin on my reasons for not parting with her and made me look at how life is through Willows eyes! She is a big teddy bear and loves kids! All the hard puppy stuff is done so you just get to enjoy her! I will not let her go to just anyone, I will want to see where she would live or at the very least see evidence of where she would be. I dont want money for her but I would want a donation paid directly to a dog rescue centre. If you think you can give Willow a loving forever home then I look forward to hearing from you. Sorry for the essay but I wanted to be clear from the off how things are x
