Description
This earnie, he’s a 1 year old miniature dachshund, he’s fully entire, up to date with his vaccinations, his yearly booster is due shortly, he’s fleed and wormed and is regularly vet checked.
Good bits:
Earnie is super loving, he loves nothing more than to have a cuddle and a stroke, he will actively seek you for said cuddles and does sleep under the covers with you tucked up in bed.
He can be around other animals, is great with cats and other small animals, He eats and drinks well and will eat pretty much anything you give him.
Bad bits:
Earnie is a 🔔🔚 haha if you take him for a walk he will spend the whole time barking at anything that moves, he will try to escape his lead to chase said things that move, he is house trained and will go out for the toilet but if you take your eye off him for a second he will pee up anything and everything! And if you are his human he will make sure you know your his human and will pee on your pillow if you leave him 🙃
Earnie just wants to be loved and gets that excited that you are loving him that he will nip because he doesn’t know what to do with himself, he does this out of excitement not malice.
As said previously he does love to be around other animals including cats but will actively chase them trying to play which some animals may not like!
Due to this we would like him to go to someone who does know the breed and has the time to help him through these issues or someone who will love him regardless off his issues! He does tolerate children but would be better suited to someone who has no children or older children.
This is a very very reluctant sale and I’m still not 100%, Earnie has been my baby since the day he was born, I love him more than I can explain, maybe I am the reason he is like he is 🤷🏻♀️ but unfortunately due to a change in career I am no longer home and due to his nature am unable to take him to work with me, he’s now not getting the attention he craves, and due to the fact we are having to relocate we feel it will send him backwards being somewhere he’s doesn’t know and being on his own! The last thing I want is for him to be miserable.

Pros

Not the best choice for first time owners because Dachshunds often have a mind of their own
Care must be taken with puppies because they must not be allowed to jump up or down from anywhere because it could damage their backs and joints
They are prone to putting on too much weight if not given enough daily exercise
