Reluctantly Darcy needs a new home with people that can give her the love, attention and walks she very much needs.
Unfortunately due to a recent health diagnosis I’m struggling to look after Darcy and work around treatments and have come to the conclusion that I’m unable to give her what she needs.
She is 7 years old, and an incredibly affectionate and loving dog. For the first 4 years of her life she was paired with another dog so she should be fine with another dog of a similar age / size. Although she has become accustomed to be the only child. She has been fine with visiting children but has never lived with children.
She is trained to ask to use the garden etc, will sit, stay, lie down, paw etc. isn’t the greatest on the lead as she hasn’t had the walks she really should have, but she could not be keener to please and will do anything for a cocktail sausage.
She is approx 18kg.
She is in good health other than some allergies which she takes steroids to combat. She does need these prescriptions which come to approx £30 per month, she won’t be able to live without them unfortunately so the right home would need to maintain these.
I really do need to make sure she is going to the best home possible.
