The puppies are being brought up in our home which includes adults, children and other dogs of different ages. They are therefore very well socialised and enjoy living as part of a pack and family.
Mum is a KC standard dachshund shaded red from a long line of champions, with a very quiet and loyal temperament. Dad is a KC standard dachshund black and tan who is still competing in the ring, with a relaxed and friendly temperament.
This will be mums first and last litter.
Their litter consists of a mixture of girls and boys with very quiet and friendly temperaments. (They are also super fluffy, super squishy little bundles of joy!)
Nova – Girl – A super confident and adventurous little girl. Nova was the first to walk and also the first to go off exploring. She really enjoys our other dog’s company and is happy to sit and play with them away from her mama and siblings. We think that Nova will thrive with a lively attentive family made up of dogs, children or both. A very active couple might also work.
Iris – Girl – The smallest of the litter and also the most timid. Iris is an extremely calm and quiet little girl who enjoys sleeping and playing with her siblings. She doesn’t venture far from her home, seems disinterested in the rest of the pack and just likes to sit by herself and observe. We think that Iris would prefer a quieter calm home and she might even be happy as an only dog.
Ares – Boy – An extremely affectionate little boy who enjoys being held and giving kisses! He loves the company of his pack and will often be found sleeping on top of one of his siblings. He has a very relaxed attitude to life and his zen approach shows! We think that Ares will enjoy being part of a caring family with other dogs no matter their size.
Neo - Boy – A heavy set little boy with the heart of a saint! He will rarely let anything phase him; for instance, he doesn’t push for food, just waits patiently! He just takes life all in his stride. He loves being around his mama and affection is what he craves! We think that Neo might grow into be a couch potato!! So, an affectionate family with a large sofa would be ideal!
Maia - Girl – The biggest of the pack in both physical size and character. Maia is a happy go lucky little girl who has always finds pleasure is her siblings, milk and food. She has a zest for life and enjoys playing and exploring and getting to know the world. We think that she will grow into a dog that enjoys an active lifestyle, so an active loving family would suite.
These puppies are currently still on their mother’s milk but being weaned on wet food.
Visits are absolutely essential so that you may make a connection with the puppy that will join your family. Once a decision has been made, a holding fee will be required. We are in no hurry for them to go to just anyone but would rather ensure that their new family is able to provide them with the very best love, food, shelter, care, and attention they deserve.
Please feel free to bombard us with questions and queries!
Please also don’t ask for more images. We will try to take photos as they grow and update the advert.
We don’t offer video call viewings and wont courier puppies to you either.
We appreciate that with the KC pedigree of these dogs, their lineage, as well as the rare colouring, they ‘should’ be offered for over £2k, but we honestly do not do this for profit and feel a good home is the most important factor here. We would prefer that they not be lone dogs either, as naturally they are pack animals and thrive better in pairs/a group. But, if they do end up being an only dog, we would ask that they get offered the time and attention required to grow up well balanced and happy. The mother is our family member, and this litter was merely to offer her the experience of being a mother which we believe she deserves. This will be her first and last litter. We seek pet homes only, therefore all puppies will be endorsed to avoid them being used as studs or for breeding purposes.
