Our much-loved family pet Fern has given birth to five beautiful puppies. They are all doing really well and mum is also doing great.
The puppies are a lovely dark fox red colour and some have more curly coats while others are more silky and smooth.
Fern is a KC registered, pedigree, working-type Cocker spaniel. She is the most perfect family pet we could wish for – very calm, sensible, and fantastic with our young children and other pets.
Although Fern is mainly our family pet, she is also a very well-bred gundog, with many field trial champions in her pedigree. We use her for beating and picking up throughout the shooting season. She is trained to a very high standard and always does us proud.
Dad is Romeo, a red KC registered, pedigree miniature Poodle. We chose Romeo after a lot of research and viewing many potential partners for our girl. He is a very friendly, loving boy, full of character and extremely intelligent. He is also a much-loved family pet. Romeo is very handsome and, importantly, has an excellent pedigree and all the necessary health tests.
When planning this mating between Fern and Romeo, our aim was to produce puppies that would make perfect family pets. We didn’t want lap dogs or very large dogs that might feel cumbersome in the house. We wanted a good all-round family dog that can enjoy everything a dog should – fetching, running, swimming, etc – while being more laid-back than some working breeds, with the added benefit of low-shedding coats.
They are being raised in our family home with our children, so they will be well socialised and used to all the sights and sounds of a busy household.
Puppies will leave with:

Both parents are extensively health tested, and the puppies will be 100% clear of the following conditions:
HNPK, EIC, DM, Dwarfism, CNM, RD, OSD, FN, NE, VWD, PRA.
Romeo’s hip score is 6/6, and he has a current BVA eye test.
These are all the hereditary conditions that Cockapoos can potentially suffer from, and all paperwork will be provided to support this.
Fern is our much-loved family pet, and her puppies will not be sold to just anyone. We will be asking potential owners some questions, as we only want the very best homes for these babies. Please make sure you have thought it through carefully and are 100% ready for a long-term commitment before getting in touch.
We have waited to advertise the puppies until they are old enough to start showing their little personalities, to help ensure you choose the right puppy for you.
