Meet Stevie, Stevie is a happy, playful girl who loves to be running around enjoying the garden or playing with her toys. She has had a very hard start to life so can struggle with the world, she just needs someone who can guide her and build up her confidence. Stevie is looking for a female dominated household as men can make her very anxious, she will be reactive to new men visiting the home and their sudden movements so she will need someone willing to work on this with her. She is very food orientated and is always close by for a bite of your toast or a biscuit but she hates vegetables! She will pick out every one! Can you offer stevie the loving home she deserves?
Stevie can share her home with Calmer, Confident Older Dog Savvy Children. She has visiting grandchildren in her current home however they can make her anxious and reactive.
Stevie can share her home with another Confident, Dominant dog, she gains lots of confidence from other dogs however she can be cheeky and steal their belongings often. Her new family will need to have the time and patience to work on this with her.
Stevie can live with a very confident, dog savvy cat with the ability for long term separation if needed. She has been around cats previously and coped well with them however she can be reactive to the current cat she lives with.
Stevie accepts a collar, harness and lead and she is always kept double leaded as she can be an escape artist if she becomes spooked. She is great on walks and will ignore other dogs and people.
Stevie is toilet trained during the day however does still use puppy pads at night time. She doesn't currently use a crate. Stevie displays guarding behaviours with food and resources, she can sometimes steal them from the other dogs and will guard them, she will need someone who is willing to continue working on this with her. She as never been destructive and can be left alone for long periods of time with no issues. She is great overnight.
