❣️About the breed:
The "English Muffin" is not a recognized cat breed by major cat registries. It is a term, and a developing breed, used by some breeders, to describe a hybrid cat breed. These cats are a cross between a Minuet or Munchkin, known for its short legs and a British Shorthair, resulting in a cat with a round, sweet face, potentially short legs, and a plush coat.
Characteristics:
Appearance:
English Muffins typically have a round, sweet face, a plush coat (short or long-haired), and can have short legs (due to the Minuet and Munchkin influence) or standard-length legs.
Temperament:
They are known for their sweet, loving, and laid-back personalities, often described as friendly and great with children.
Origins:
The English Muffin breed is a relatively new hybrid, developed from crossing Minuets with British Shorthairs.
Coat Colors and Patterns:
They can come in a variety of colors and patterns, including those of the British Shorthair.
