What's a mare she is and has been !!
A real chunky monkey - masses of bone and substance. A weight carrier as she was bred to be.
Loves a fun ride, happy hack or a lower level amble about the arenas.
Not a worrier with traffic. Confident to lead through busy village environments. Videos available of her at 'pole' position at a red traffic light - patiently waiting her turn to continue her hack.
Will pop a pole coloured and rustic. Happy to take a lead position over fences around a fun ride as well as confident around a course up to 70cm potential to jump higher with the right rider but simply not been asked of her with previous owners.
Attended a recent open riding club rally last week where she was mannerly and settled.
Rosie can be a little on the forehand and does require a kick or stronger lower leg as can sometimes hesitate if she can't really be bothered to do something. That said she's ridden daily by our younger confident novice yard girls aswell as hacked by more nervous Nellie's on the weekends in company. Most just carry a whip and that's all it takes.
A super sort for husband / wife share or for a family horse to tag along and enjoy all the equine adventures throughout the seasons
Said to have previously been hunted and thoroughly enjoyed that.
Loads and travels well in our Ifor Williams trailer.
Turns out with mares and geldings and isn't top nor bottom of the pecking order in our herd. Good to catch and bring in.
Happy to stable no vices.
Has had her coffin joint injected and may require this annually - this cost approx £300 and considered in my opinion as a routine maintenance for a mare of her age in full work
