Description
This Vinnie, 10 months old, we have had him from 8 weeks. He is microchipped, vaccinated included kennel cough, has regular flea and worm treatment.
Vinnie is a large size dog, currently 32kg, gorgeous looking and a fun, friendly and energetic boy. He still a pup and has been to training classes but still needs work on been a bit calmer when meeting other dogs and recall. Vinnie does sit, stay, lay down. Also on walks we has a waiting command to stop at each crossing and then move off with 'lets go'. On lead he can pull a bit at the start, we use a training grot lead due to him been a large breed and we wanted to get him trained as best we could. Vinnie loves fetch with a tennis ball and a game of tug, he also takes well to training, including agility jumps. Vinnie is crate trained and will sleep 8 hours through, he is toilet trained.
We have just transitioned him to raw feed, as a trial due to him not settling with dry food or tinned but this can be reverted back following appropriate guidance. He loves natural treats and pigs ears and cows ears are a favourite.
Vinnie is fine around children but always consider his size, he loves meeting other dogs and just wants to play. This does cause him to get excited and we have been working on him been calmer. He goes to a training class with German shepherds and loves to have a good run round with them.
He will settle for a cuddle and will give you a big kiss , greats you when you get home with his wonderful smile.
The reason I am looking to Rehome him is for his benefit, I have had a change in circumstances with my job, which requires me to be away more and my kids, age 20,17 and 14 are not around as much. Been honest the newness has worn off for my daughter and she struggled to deal with Vinnie when he was really energetic/bouncy. I will not Rehome to anyone without meeting them and appropriate checks, I am doing this for the best of Vinnie but i will keep hold of him until someone who can offer him better comes along. Vinnie needs the constant training, this is what is missing, it's not consistent with the family members and due to work/sons commitments sports wise I haven't been able to get him to training classes as often as I would like.
I am setting a fee to ensure someone is genuine and the money will be donated to the RSPCA.
