Frankie is a loving 6 year old female cat, she has been spayed so will NOT be able to breed. Ideally I would like Frankie to go to a place where she can have all the love and attention she can get, with a garden that she is able to go out into. Frankie loves going outside and sleeps with her tongue sticking out and she snores and dribbles.
Unfortunately due to me moving to a new area and living in a flat she has become quite upset as she can no longer go outside, with the move has come a new job where I cannot give her the attention or time that she needs, Frankie loves to have a cuddle in bed and lots of attention and playtime. I have had Frankie since she was born due to having her mother from a kitten, who sadly passed away 2 years ago at the age of 15, she is a full bred blue British short hair but has no papers to prove this.
I would like Frankie to go to a place where she will be the centre of attention, ideally a couple with no young children/children that understand that she can be shy, or, an older couple where she can be spoilt.
Frankie’s nicknames are: Frank or Plank because she can be as thick as two short planks at times.
Frankie is litter trained and once she has got used to her new home and is able to know her outside surroundings she will only ever use the tray if she is kept in overnight, when I was living in a house she would come and go as she pleased with her kitty door and I would very rarely need to change her litter as she prefers to be outside more and go to the toilet outside where she can hide it better.
Frankie can only have a certain type of food and I will provide a bag on sale, her food lasts her around 4/6 weeks per bag, it is good for her nutrition and she is a little bit of a gannet which is why I buy her certain food, Frankie tends to choke on food because she doesn’t chew her food she just swallows it whole, she is on a dry food only diet with treats in between, the dry food is small enough so she can just swallow it and it has stopped her choking on food for the past year. Whenever I try to change her dry food she does get an upset stomach and will end up choking on the new food so just keep this in mind. Frankie also likes to always have enough water and is very vocal if she doesn’t have this, she likes to have a running water supply which you can get this from Amazon in the form of a waterfall which she likes as it seems like fresh water to her, I did have this but the one I bought recently broke so now I just use a bowl and she will still drink from this but only fresh water and needs to see me fill it before she drinks from this.
Frankie is an all around brilliant cat but unfortunately I am unable to keep her as I can no longer give her what she needs, I can’t let her go outside as I am on the top floor of a block of flats and she needs her own outside space and attention that I can no longer give to her, I have had Frank from when she was born and it breaks my heart that I have to find her a new home.
