It is with great sadness that I need to rehome my sons 2 birds due to no fault of their own. A family member has developed a lung condition where they are allergic to bird feather protein and it is life threatening for them if we keep the birds.
This advert is for the male (we believe). His name is Willow. He is three years old. Willow is a beautiful bird with lovely colours. Willow hasnt been handled for a few months now because of the family member but Willow was hand tamed. Not sure if this is something that can be gotten back or not.
When we got willow they were added to the cage which already had an older budgie and they became very good friends, leaving the cage together and flying around and sitting on my sons hands and shoulders until the other bird died from old age around 18 months ago. I don’t know if Willow could now have another bird with him or not.
Willow comes with a large cage, food and water dispensers, toys and food. Everything you need.
Birds can easily suffer from shock so recommend Willow transitions to their new home in their original cage initially.
